Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL), a Government of Uttarakhand Undertaking is a sole electricity distribution licensee of the state. Today, UPCL is supplying electricity to its 2.23 million consumers across the State with peak demand of 2050 MW. UPCL is committed to supply quality and reliable power to its consumers at affordable cost. UPCL - the Frontline State Power Distribution Utility & service provider of QUALITY & RELIABLE POWER SUPPLY to over 1.59 million consumers.


These electrical consumers are categorized depending ont heir domestic, commercial, agricultural and industrial loads. UPCL is also the first electrical utility in India to initiate women empowerment by employing local women through Self Help Groups, as franchisees, for meter reading, bill distribution and revenue collection.

DEVELOPMENT OF ONLINE CENTRALIZED BILLING SYSTEM
This is a web-based application developed for generation of electricity bills of consumers having load more than 25 KW for all tariffs. UPCL has BSNL Leased line connectivity among 32 Divisions. There are four types of users:
  • Head Quarter can :
    1. Generate zone / circle / division /subdivision wise electricity bills
    2. Change tariff engine
    3. Adjust parameter values in bill stop conditions
    4. View/Save/Print bill log, daily payment collections, Checklist before processing of bills, almost 40 various MIS reports and Audit Trails
  • Division Operator can :
    1. Input/Edit consumer details, monthly Readings for TOD meters, daily payment collections, disconnection / reconnection details.
    2. Generate bills for own division only.
    3. Print/Save bills in PDF Format.
    4. View/Save/Print various reports.
  • Division Ex. Engineer can :
    1. Authorize the monthly data entered by operator (Once authorized, data is locked for processing and can’t be edited).
    2. Unlock the particular data for editing.
    3. View/Save/Print various MIS reports.
  • Analysis user can :
    1. Analyze different data through various MIS Reports.
    2. View/Save/Print various analysis reports.
IMPLEMENTATION AND MAINTINANCE SUPPORT FOR ONLINE CENTRALIZED BILLING SYSTEM
Based on our excellent performance in designing and development of ONLINE CENTRALIZED BILLING SYSTEM, we were also engaged by UPCL in implementation and post implementation support of the system. Online Billing System’s objectives are:
  • It’s allows to consumers to see their electricity bill details online. The facility is available for LT & HT consumers and all KCC Consumers of Uttarakhand.
  • Online Payment is simple and convenient electricity bill payment service provided for UPCL consumers.
  • It allows making payment online through the UPCL website instantly with multiple options like credit card, debit card and internet banking. You need to specify your UPCL Service Connection Number / KNO to view the bill details and pay directly through credit/debit card/cash card or internet banking.
DEVELOPMENT OF DAILY SUPPLY POSITION SYSTEM
We were hired by UPCL for the development of Daily Supply Position System for them. System covers day to day working and monitoring of Supply Position.
DEVELOPMENT OF ON LINE SOFTWARE FOR OPEN ACCESS ADJUSTMENT/ CHARGES & COMMERCIAL DAIRY GENERATION
This is web-based online application for OPEN ACCESS ADJUSTMENT/ CHARGES & COMMERCIAL DAIRY GENERATION. This system covers the functionality of capturing unit-wise power distribution data. It automates the commercial dairy generation for UPCL.
DEVELOPMENT OF DOCUMENT TRACKING SYSTEM
This is a web-based application to track letters and files at different desk and different stages. It covers all dairy and dispatch day to day working. It automatically calculates pendency of document finalization at various level.
DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SOFTWARE FOR MANAGEMENT OF BILLS OF POWER PURCHASE
This is a web based-application to verify monthly bills of power purchase submitted by different generators, track their outstanding, payment status, discount entitlement etc.
DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGERATION OF SMS BASED NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
We have integrated various cross platform application with SMS gateway for different kind of services provided by the UPCL.
CONSULTACY FOR VARIOUS COMMERCIAL INITIATIVES
Commercial Department is a key department of UPCL. Main mandate of department is doing power purchase as per the demand and supply position. Based on our expertise department hired us to provide consultancy services for the betterment of department day to day working.
SUPPORT OF UPCL LEGACY APPLICATION (PAYROLL/FAS/MMS/GPF/EPF) ORIGINALLY DEVELOPED BY M/S DELOITTE
We in collaboration with Shree Siddhivinayak All Solutions (SSAS) are providing satisfactory support to UPCL legacy application (Payroll/FAS/MMS/GPF/EPF) originally developed by M/s Deloitte. This is tailor-maid ERP system all applications are tightly integrated which cover following key modules:

  • General Provident Fund.
  • Employee Provident Fund.
  • Management Information System.
  • Personal Information System.
  • GST.
  • Pension.

We are successfully maintaining the system and doing required modifications as per government guidelines. Generating required data and fulfilling all government compliances.
